One health initiative: 151 dogs neutered at Taboba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra

Through ‘One health’ initiative, Wild-CER has established one health centre in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR), Maharashtra. Recently, we organized an Animal Birth Control (ABC) camp where 151 dogs were neutered and immunized with anti-rabies vaccine.

The camp was organized from 20th January to 31st January 2025. The operations were conducted at Kolara range of TATR in around 15-20 villages.

We are thankful to team WVS task force for arranging this camp. The WVS team included vet, vet assistant, dog catcher and dog handler.  We are thankful to the support by Harit by HCLFoundation and Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra Forest Department.
