International Tiger Day was celebrated by Wild CER at Pench Tiger Reserve (PTR) in collaboration with Maharashtra Forest Department and Jivhala Club. Shri Prabhunath Shukla, Conservator of Forests and Field Director, P.T.R. was present as the chief guests and Shri Ajinkya Bhatkar, W.W.F. guided the audience as the main speaker. Around 50 members from Jivhala club and Wild-CER students club attended the program.
Dr. Bahar Baviskar, President of Wild CER announced the new initiative “Tiger Club”. The logo of Tiger Club was unveiled by the chief guest Shri. Shukla. Wild-CER Student’s Club coordinated the event and visited the field Pench Tiger Reserve. Mr. Avinash Sanghwai, Jivhala expressed his views on regarding future journey in the field of wildlife conservation.
