Celebrating 20 years of wildlife conservation excellence
Wild-CER honored with prestigious award for two decades of service in wildlife conservation
We are proud to share that Society for wildlife conservation, education and research (Wild-CER) has been conferred with a distinguished Vidarbhaveer award recognizing our 20 years of unwavering commitment to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and conservation. The award was conferred by Wildlife Welfare Society of Nagpur who is actively involved in wildlife conservation and snake bite management in Central India.
For two decades, our dedicated team has worked tirelessly across 10 states, 25 protected areas, forests, communities, and several rescue centers to protect endangered species, rehabilitate injured animals, and promote coexistence between humans and wildlife. This honour celebrates not only our achievements but also the collective efforts of our volunteers, veterinarians, conservationists, and supporters who have stood with us on this journey.
Our impact over the years
• Rescued and rehabilitated 54000 wild animals, from birds and reptiles to large mammals.
• Established community outreach programs to reduce human-wildlife conflict.
• Conducted awareness campaigns and educational initiatives to inspire future generations and reached more than 55000 people
• Partnered with several government agencies and global organizations to strengthen conservation policies.
Looking Ahead
This award is both a recognition of our past and a motivation for the future. As we step into the next chapter, we remain committed to expanding our rescue operations, advancing scientific research, and empowering communities to safeguard biodiversity.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to our supporters and partners—this milestone belongs to all of you. Together, we will continue to build a world where wildlife thrives in harmony with people.
